FirmDeed

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Versaloop Pvt Ltd ("FirmDeed," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use FirmDeed.

2. Information We Collect

Account information (name, email, password), will content you choose to enter, documents and media you upload to your vault, executor and beneficiary contact details you provide, and payment information processed by our payment provider, Stripe (we do not store full card numbers ourselves).

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the Service, process payments, send transactional emails (such as storage-limit alerts or executor notifications) via our email provider, Resend, verify your identity and death-event confirmations, and communicate with you about your account.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Vault documents and media are encrypted and stored using Cloudflare R2, accessed only through a server-side proxy — file URLs are never exposed directly to your browser. Uploaded files are scanned for malware (ClamAV) before storage. Our database is backed up daily. We use industry- standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate FirmDeed — Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Cloudflare (storage infrastructure) — and only to the extent required to provide the Service, or where required by law.

6. Executor Access

Vault documents are released to your designated executor only after our death-verification process confirms your death and your executor completes the applicable retrieval process described in our Terms of Service.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and vault data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, including honoring executor-access obligations after your death. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to any retention required by law.

8. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email below. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate core Service functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

FirmDeed is not directed to individuals under the age of majority in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy
